Wanjiku Githinji
ESG Leader with over 18 years of international experience in the management of ESG risks and impacts for private and public-sector clients in Sub Sahara Africa (SSA), Middle East and North Africa (MENA) as well as Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). Wanjiku has led numerous E&S Due Diligence (ESDD) and E&S monitoring assignments for Private Equity and Development Finance Institutions ranging from $20 million – $900 million in size. She has vast experience with investment projects in infrastructure, renewable and non-renewable energy, agriculture, manufacturing, and health sectors. Wanjiku has also advised numerous clients on projects that have low E&S capacity during the E&S monitoring phase to manage E&S risks; and supported them in developing corrective action plans to bring projects to compliance with national legislation, as well as international requirements.
