Nasri Adam

Nasri Adam is a dynamic and seasoned professional with a rich background in the development sector. As the Regional Director for East Africa at AVPA, she leads transformative initiatives to amplify the flow of capital into social investments across the region. AVPA, a Pan-African network, strives to ensure that financial, human, and intellectual capital is deployed effectively and innovatively for maximum social impact. Nasri is pivotal in driving this mission, fostering collaboration among social investors to span the continuum of venture philanthropy and social investment—from philanthropy to impact investing, CSR, ESG and sustainable business practices

Before joining AVPA, Nasri was the driving force behind regional programs at the African Philanthropy Forum. She also dedicated a decade to The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, where she excelled in leading Global Compliance and Quality Assurance and played a crucial role in supporting Global Programmes.

A proud native of Kenya, Nasri is based in Nairobi and holds an LLB in Law from the University of Nairobi.
