
Eliud Maina
Eliud Maina serves as the Lead, Structured Investments at the Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB), which oversees USD 1.8 billion AUM. With over 35 equity investments amongst other asset classes, RSSB is the largest investment fund in Rwanda and is pioneering investment in non-traditional asset classes among them Venture Capital and Private Equity Fund investments.
Before joining RSSB, Eliud held various roles at Acorn Investment Management Ltd which is the asset management arm of Acorn Holdings (the largest developer of student accommodation in East Africa). At Acorn, Eliud was involved in landmark transactions among them the structuring and set up of the Acorn Student Accommodation REITs and the structuring of the first Green Bond in Kenya.
Eliud holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and is also a Certified Public Accountant (Kenya).
