Edgar Mukasa

Edgar is an Associate Director in KPMG Uganda with over 13 years experience working as a tax advisor in KPMG.

Since joining KPMG, Edgar has handled tax compliance services (including audit and deferred tax computations), tax health checks, tax due diligences, tax advisory services, payroll services, tax planning and restructuring, customs compliance review, Transfer Pricing engagements and tax training to corporations in Uganda.  

Edgar has experience in handling matters related to Customs Tax, Corporation Tax, Pay As You Earn (PAYE), Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding tax, Stamp duty, Local Service Tax (LST), National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and Transfer Pricing.

In 2015, Edgar was seconded to Moscow, Russia as a Tax Manager in which he obtained expertise in the areas of Transfer Pricing and Taxation of a variety of industries operating in the Russian economy.

Edgar has been involved in the provision of tax advisory services for a number of companies across diverse sectors including: Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing and consumer industry.
